Photo Editing

This past month has been a busy one, full of six different events that were happening one after another.  With so many things needing to be done, volunteers came forward to help get things done. Having a social media plan and job descriptions came in very handy, to explain to our new helpers what needed to be done.
What I also found helpful to have was a list of online photo editors that people could use if they didn't have the Adobe Creative Suite.  I'm big on free programs, even though there are limitations, I find a way to make it work.  The exception is the mobile apps I use.  There is a fee for these two, which I didn't pay for.  I found this wonderful site that offers links to great apps for free or a discount.

Gimp is a downloadable program.  I use it for resizing, cropping, photo-montages and converting between different image formats.

Picmonkey is an online photo editor and graphic design powerhouse.  It allows you to edit, design, touch-up or create a collage.  You can whiten teeth or remove a blemish for free, but to remove a wrinkle it's gonna cost you (upgrade to the Royale package for additional fonts and options)

Create graphic images with Canva.  All social media graphic sizes are ready for you, so you no longer have to search for what size the Facebook header is.  Upload your own images, or use the limited free gallery.

Layapp for Android and iOS.  Collage maker and photo editor.

Layered App for iOS.  Add animated text, stickers, music and more to your pictures and videos.

Now with all this power at your fingertips, there is no excuse to not include a photo with every post you make.
