Homemade Grenadine

I never really thought about what Grenadine was made with.  Pomegranates?  Yup.  So let's give this a try and stock the bar. 

1. Start with a bottle of pomegranate juice. Make sure it's 100% juice.  

2. Bring 4 cups of pomegranate juice to a boil.

3. Lower heat and simmer until it reduces in half, about 15 minutes.  

4. Add 2 cups of sugar and let it dissolve.

5. Time to cool it down.  Let it chill.

The color will be a lighter than Rose's, don't worry, yours is much better!
